Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet 2018 Review

Mercedes Benz is among the Big German Three, but it falls behind ultra-luxury names such as Bentley and Royce Rolls. Don’t worry, Benz has plan for it and is now reviving the thought to be dead Maybach series. This series was once revived before but didn’t last long, let’s see how it holds up now.

Introduction to 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet

The Maybach brand name was once before revived in 1997.Befor this, the brand had no production for five decades. Although the limousines met with great success (both Maybach 57 and 62), this time the company felt a need for change. This is the reason it went on to introduce the 2 door 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet.

There are many anticipations  around this car as it will not only revive the maybach brand, but will also make Mercedes stand in line of ultra-luxury brands like Royce Rolls and Bentley, something that BMW and Audi failed at. There are not much official released about this car, but we made the best of what we can lay our hands on.

The previous revival of Maybach proved successful. Although it’s a direct competition for Rolls-Royce and Bentley, the product line is a gem on its own. This time, there is a different strategy for 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet.  The new car has sporty exterior, unique interior and a powerful engine derived from AMG S65.

This makes the auto treat all the more tempting but being the first two door coupe and ditching Exelero concept makes 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet all the more attractive. The AMG based design and incredible power makes it a contender against high end auto brands.
